We have been given 800 for the open end of the ground. Go on sale through GTFC tomorrow. No mention of undercover seats, anyone know if we are getting any?

All seater stadium…urine take this though. Whilst I understand it’s been moved to a Tuesday night…there’s zero reason for this to be all ticket or give us such a excrement allocation. Or was this the actual plan all along and it was nothing to do with their Saturdays game changing?

I think the club have been a bit daft putting them on sale tomorrow too…

Without wanting to put 2 and 2 together and getting 5, i've just looked on the Stockport site, and they're not selling tickets to home fans in the last two 'Blocks' of the covered stand alongside the pitch next to the away end.

Might just be for segregation, but would also allow extra away tickets if necessary.

Hopefully they do increase the away capacity, as i know there'll be a lot of NW based Mariners wanting to go, on top of the vast amount of regulars.

Away fans are normally housed on one side of the Popular Side Stand, where up to 900 seats can be allocated, across two blocks.

For the really big games then visiting supporters can also be allocated all or part of the Railway End, where the capacity is 1,366

I'm sure more will be given if we sell out.

Why can't they just allocate 1366?

Surely they’re not expecting folk to sit in the actual seat…just sell the tickets and let folk sit where they want…

I don't think Stockport (and many other clubs) like Grimsby fans.  Stockport have given us uncovered seating, not the usual side covered seating they give other clubs !  Bromley wanted to sell tickets on Ticket Master in an attempt to put us off?  There are other examples, I honestly think they are afraid of us, either causing trouble or out singing the home supporters, who knows, but it is getting silly! Even Chesterfield did not want us there for a friendly game!

It's certainly easy to come up with conspiracy theories and/or get paranoid at the moment isn't it. If the game had been BH Monday I could understand it being all ticket - we could have been looking at 2k from Gy. With the game switched to Tuesday night and no train back to Gy and nearly 11k capacity, I was expecting pay on the day. Even then, making it all ticket they dump us in the open end. It could be pissing down. Bizarre.

I wonder how much of that is the legacy of:
(A) what has actually happened in the past;
(B) what our former safety officer and majority pension beneficiary told other clubs (eg tampongate)

Bromley have a contract with Ticketmaster.

Someone has got a couple of tickets he can no longer use. See the thread posted earlier today.

I went to the JPT away game in 2008 when we spent the first half getting soaked before the thundersnow.  We only got moved because it was getting dangerous.

I think putting us on an uncovered end is an insult when they also have covered space on the side. Not sure I'll give them my money to be honest.

By the way, Maidenhead away tickets can be bought online from them and there doesn't seem to be a limit. They will be e-tickets but it looks easy enough to purchase them.

So that’s three games with pretty small allocations and we’re not out of August yet. It sounds daft but are locally high covid rates adding to already strict policing decisions?

I wonder if they will be the excuses? I mean it’s total balderdash but it’s a ready made excuse…

Last time I went to Stockport the only trouble I saw was our fans having a fight with each other at the front of the uncovered seats

Might have already been covered on this thread but I noticed the Maidenhead away tickets are now on sale on the Maidenhead web site. Apparently they are not being offered to Town to print/sell and the allocation is under 500. E-ticket as well.

This I’d imagine does feature heavily…I remember being at Shrewsbury away in the cup, Tuesday night replay, so many OB. Got chatting to a steward, he was saying the reason for so many when someone few town was because a certain ground safety officer had bigger up our numbers to 1000+…

Just bagged my tickets, I’m imagining these will go but probably a lot slower than Bromley…
