Its v local for him and as he is as injured and older than Hanson (36 in Aug) I would not have thought he would get much of an offer from the higher echelons of non league as an option. Bit of a legend among Vale fans doubt he would have to pay for many of his own drinks on a night out round here.

Great goalscoring record for them. Think it's more to do with being local and rather than retirement why not have another payday for a year while being close to home?
