I’m abroad and I follow have told me that they’re will be no coverage. 45 quid has come out of my account which I presume is just for highlights and interviews but I’m not
100 percent sure .

There will be nothing new from Grimsby Town on iFollow. Everything that was on iFollow is now free on clubs YouTube channel, and audio commentaries will be free off BBC website.(BBC SOUNDS)

It's already been confirmed that audio commentary is gonna be free on BBC, so if you're on about the £5 per month one then you may as well cancel now. I can't imagine overseas people will be getting streams through iFollow either, but I could be wrong I guess.

I got an email from ifollow saying the subs would go down to 45 quid for the year but they did not stipulate what I get for that.  I think it's jut the audio.

Same here. I cancelled mine, no point, Humberside fior commentary and YouTube for highlights later. One season only

I am not sure of the point you are making. Of course restrictions were introduced because of hospitalisations and to stop the NHS from being overwhelmed. What other matrix would be used?

The government have indeed broken the link between infections and hospitalisations, which means that irrespective of infection numbers we can get back to normality, albeit gradually.

I don’t know, how about they used a matrix that avoided 150,000 people dying? But they chose to ignore deaths and target the bare minimum to avoid the NHS collapsing.

Vaccination has not broken the link though it has weakened it. Hospitalisation cases are rising but at a lower rate. If this continues then the pressure on the NHS will become significant. This will be especially if we see an increase in flu hospitalisations which could occur due to more social contact.

Until the vast majority of the population is double vaccinated then the risk of a significant increase in hospitalisation cases is still present. If that was to occur then restrictions could be reintroduced although this is probably remote. To ensure that this is prevented then you need to achieve a vaccination rate of 90 - 95% given the delta variant and its transmission rate.

I should have said broken the link between infections and uncontrollable/unmanageable hospitalisations.

The coming days and weeks will determine if any link has been broken or even weakened.

I remain to be convinced.

95% of 50 and overs are fully vaccinated. That is absolute key.

My previous prediction are based on the useless government we have and not what a competent government would do.

The NHS is already feeling the pinch again, Golly.  That's the actual key to it all.

Of course the link between infections and deaths has been weakened, the data already makes that blindingly obvious. It can't be broken though because not everyone is vaccinated, and even if they were the vaccine won't be 100% effective at preventing deaths.

Even with high numbers vaccinated there will still be rising hospitalisations. Despite massively reducing the risks, older people are still vulnerable- in fact in the recent figures more vaccinated people have died than unvaccinated. That’s not to say the vaccines don’t work, they do, it’s just that the risk of death doubles for every 7 years of age.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
