Ive just spoken to my friend who lives overlooking the main carpark at BP. He said he has seen several new faces in and out the front door today, nice cars, smartly dressed and, in his words, "young enough to still play"

You sure it was “your friend”? I was over at BP earlier and the entire time there was this one bloke hanging out of a nearby window wearing nothing but an ill-fitting Wayne Burnett Wembley 98 shirt and a latex jockstrap, shouting obscenities at parked cars whilst performing “the helicopter”.

I’ll not be asking him to babysit the kids anytime soon…

I may be a man of many talents but alas performing the helicopter and/or the aeroplane is not something I can do with my bad back.

If it was me overlooking the carpark, I'd have my DSLR out getting photos of everybody, in or out, to see if there was any faces we could put names to. Unfortunately my zoom doesn't quite get the details when photographing from the Wybers

Harry’s brother who used to play for Gainsborough Trinity is the brother who is called Joe. He used to play for Boston and now plays for Ilkeston.

The other brother is Laurence who plays for Chesterfield.

All three brothers are from Sheffield

The Accrington Joe Maguire formerly of Liverpool, Fleetwood and Accrington was born in Manchester

Back on a transfer note - with many contracts now having expired as of yesterday,  I would expect that Hurst will have a line of red hot phones, with agents clammering to get the best money for their available players as soon as possible??
