My wonderful father has not got any ID on him and UEFA wensite says must present ID to get into wembley tonight

Can anyone whos been to any of the group games please confirm if this is the case? He’s got everything else

Yeah, you need to show ID at the same time as you show your negative test or full vaccination at the 2nd check point.

I’m sure a bank card with a matching name will do though. Not everyone has a passport or a driving license after all.

In a similar vein, we had a situation where a pensioner could not be a bank signatory for an allotment association as he had surrendered his driving license, and has never been abroad to need a passport.

Pension details, utility bills, bus pass, senior citizen rail card - all deemed not good enough.

I hope that the chap gets into Wembley with more sympathy than our local bank.

I went to Euro 2000, Euro 2004 & Euro 2016 and all stated photo ID would be required to enter stadium. Not a new concept at all.
