A great servant to GTFC in a career spanning 22 years, who can forget that emotional interview at Braintree.

Town through and through, legend.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Good luck to him in the future whatever career he chooses, he was a great professional for us in dark times.
When Craig’s name was on the team sheet you knew you would get 100%, what a pleasure it was to see him lift the play off trophy to get us back in the league

I went to secondary school and then their sixth form for a total of seven years. It doesn’t mean they should give me a job there.

Was you a great servant and inspirational captain?
Maybe I just appreciate what he did and his never give up attitude on the pitch. But of course I could be wrong.

Was Disley? Loyalty, legend, great servant etc are bandied about far too easily these days. We employed someone for six years, they did a decent job. No more no less.

If he’s the best candidate for a job then he deserves it. We can’t just dole out jobs to people because they once played for us.

Ah ok.
So please suggest a suitable position for a former employee of the club.
Does he have the required qualifications for the position you're thinking about?

Let’s just say anybody with his drive and commitment would be a positive role model for the future squad. There was a time in the past when players of his type were kept within the club purely for those reasons. As for what role I’m not sure maybe something working with youth and the community

Would be a great asset to the club (maybe a coaching role) if anything did become available.

I thought he was taking his coaching badges, I think Dizza is an icon and would love to see him active within the club in some role

Would you let those three incompetent fools near a rumbler?

I'm pretty sure in the recent video interview with him at Cheapside he said he tried a bit of coaching but decided it wasn't for him.

Anyway, a fantastic career! I wish him all the best for his future wherever life takes him.

Wasn’t Craig interested in doing his accountancy qualifications?

We’ll pay for the training and give him some accounts experience and in return he can teach our midfielders to arrive late in the box with a bullet header.

Absolutely rotten stinking garbage take that. Disley was quality for us. Easily my favourite Town player of the last 10-15, maybe even 20 years.

Captain. Leader. Legend.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
