we need 2 full backs, 1 or 2 centre halves , 3 new first choice midfielders/wingers (don't see Khouri or Spokes as first choice) plus at least 2 goalscorers (and that doesn't include various squad/back up players)

Going to be a busy summer!

I have faith in Hurst. It could be worse, we could be welcoming 27   18 year old loanees from the Isthmian League.

Frankly I haven’t got a problem with anyone who wants to leave. When all is said and done, they were relegation players, and in my opinion we needed a huge rebuild anyway

Just about sums us up....normally players go on loan to impress their own team to win a place back or to put themselves in the shop window.....the loan worked out so well for Menayese they decided to take the player who helped him shine while he was here.

I think its more to do with PH than anything else personally.  Only a few loanes did well and some that was signed in Jan by PH deserve a new deal.  Everyone else I wouldn't lose any sleep that includes hendrie and Hewitt.  We can definitely do better than these 2.

Seems reasonable with everyone else, so it must be you. Maybe he’s jealous that you have the ear of the high and mighty.

doesn't ,but word is he's rejected our contract offer, he doesn't particularly see eye to eye with Hurst, and he's anxious to find a club nearer to his Manchester base ( his wife continues to work in Manchester apparently)

I was under the impression that Fillipe did have a problem with his mate John Fenty wanting to leave. The man Fillipe was of the opinion did a good job for town.

Rumours about Hendrie wanting a club closer to home have been going round ever since he signed. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

It was Hurst who got Menayese and Hewitt playing together. He'll sort it.

It's Coke I want to sign.

Hendrie's one of our longest serving players, isn't he? I think he's got more in his locker, and he's better than what he's shown us in recent times, but ultimately I don't think he's more than a L2 player.

Probably better than non-league but it's all about application. Some players slump to the standard the club finds itself in, while others maintain their standards and play above the club's league position. Sadly, Hendrie fell into the former category.

I think if you read some of my past posts that I am in favour of leaving the past where it belongs. I also offered an olive branch to Fillipe who missed the post, allegedly, so I suggested he apologise for all the upset he has caused to the majority of people on here.

We are still waiting for the apology.
