Boring pal

Since Hurst left us just outside the play offs, we've had:

Bignot
Slade
Jolley
Holloway

And found ourselves back in non-league quicker than it took to get out

But you carry on the agenda because he once cupped his ear

And still the odd negative fan.

I agree ........... but we all expected that didn’t we? At least this time he has no excuses about backing from the board, interference in selecting transfers, no complaints about facilities. But he does have the pressure of expectations from  positive fans starved of success.

Didn't take long for them to reappear, did it?
I can see it now...

Opening day
10 mins
1-0 down to Wealdstone
Cue 'pub side' and 'ear-cupping midget' and 'HURST OUT'

And then we come back to win 2-1
'I might be prepared to give him a chance' - well thanks for that totally rational 90 minutes

It'll be the same as this season - summing up with over the top comments every minute

Can we not - just for the next few months - just enjoy the positivity around the club

Hurst is a top man; top lower league manager; and going nowheere

Leave it....

So take a few million quid of your private money and buy the club, then you can have the manager of your choice.

Until you do that accept the fact that Jason and Andrew both think Hurst is the man for the job.

I listened to several videos of the new guys this morning so my heads swimming with positivity.
Cant recall which video but JS was clear they are big supporters of Hurst, they like his methods and the type of person he is. He also said they were looking at ways of creating a long term relationship with him.
So buckle up, enjoy the ride and give him a break

I think his approach (and demeanour) have changed a bit since he's been back compared to his previous tenure.

More relaxed in interviews, very open, and less "spikey", and on the pitch I think he has generally looked to play attacking football (despite us not having great armament in that area)

I think with the right backing next year I can't realistically see who we could get that would be better?

I think that it's a damning endictment on what has been an awful season, is that our top goalscorer only has 4 goals.

We do somehow need to find another Hearn, Connell, Amond or Bogle for next season. There must be someone out there who will fit the bill

Not to urine on your chips because I agree to an extent, but I do believe that empty stadiums have played a big part in PH's more relaxed post match interviews. We would have seen a different beast with fans in the ground.

Have you been asleep for the last 24 hours or so? Didn't you just get the vibe from the new owners that this kind of bull sh1t needs to stop?
