Ndjoli - from Bournemouth Goodrige - from Burnley Calvin Andrew - from Rochdale Donahue - from Swindon Thomas - from Burnley Devitt - from Blackpool Banks - from Tranmere Davies - from Bristol Rovers Bramall - from Barnsley Eardley - from Burton
You also have to take in to consideration how close some of the teams are to Barrow. This would be a big appeal to those who don't have to 'up sticks' when changing clubs.

Except Blackpool, it's not all that much quicker for getting there. About 30 minutes longer getting to Grimsby in the car than Barrow from Manchester/Liverpool area. They're probably in a worse location than us, which puts them in a very small group of clubs.

Barrow moved to train at Egerton Youth Club - in Knutsford, just south of Altrincham - at the start of this season. About 100 miles and a 2hr drive from Barrow(!). https://www.knutsfordguardian......ning-home-knutsford/
Exactly, and there were people on here the other day absolutely spewing at the suggestion we’d be better off moving the training facilities towards the western end of the m180. Just goes to show what a bit of thinking outside the box can achieve.

Great shot and goal from Foden. Young English players scored both outfield goals in the CL tonight.

Fair play to Barrow, on current form they’d be playoff contenders easily over a season. I’ve had a look though as I thought there’s no way it could just be down to a change of manager. Their incomings since January are revealing -
Ndjoli - from Bournemouth Goodrige - from Burnley Calvin Andrew - from Rochdale Donahue - from Swindon Thomas - from Burnley Devitt - from Blackpool Banks - from Tranmere Davies - from Bristol Rovers Bramall - from Barnsley Eardley - from Burton
Lots of experience and quality with youth from a much higher level. Our incomings from Jan were -
El Mizouni - Ipswich, injured Eastwood - Sheff Utd, injured Payne - Tranmere, off back of long term injury Bunney - Hartlepool, off back of long term injury, injured again Coke - Hereford, off back of long term injury LJL - Hereford Adams - Brentford u21s Lamy - Rotherham Meneyese - Mansfield Matete - Fleetwood
Just goes to show the difference January makes if you get backed properly. Probably didn’t help being dumped into the position a week before Xmas when then manager just decided to up sticks & leave, then have the owner embarrassing the club publicly when trying to attract players.
Only 3 from that list played in last night's game. I don't know what the rest of the signings are like but at the time Jolley was sacked looking at their forum many were critical of his January signings. With regard to our signings, Hurst like Holloway signed players that were never really fit and of those I doubt many have actually played that many 90 minutes because they are so unfit. PS you forgot Habergham another pre-injured player.

Ndjoli, Goodridge & Bramall have hardly played. The rest, who were generally playing regularly at least a division above L2 have played in almost every game since they signed.
I’d like to know who was Hurst’s target list. He mentioned being turned down a few times and we know Vernam turned us down.
All immaterial at this point, but the fcking circus we were subjected to at Xmas has absolutely done for us.

Very telling. In January we had every chance of staying up if we brought in some good, experienced, players. Both Bradford and Barrow did so, and have secured their future. I said before any signings had been made in the January window that we must on no account recruit mainly kids and has-beens. For whatever reason, and I suspect it was budget yet again, we did not bring in enough quality and are paying the price now. Just one more false economy in a long history of false economies under the current administration. We are dead meat until the change of ownership.
