Ok so, I had a dream last night I went to look at the final score for Town today and Scannell had scored a hat trick

Can any confirm if there is any chance he could play today?

Yes, we are a much better team when I am asleep

How many times has he played 90 mins, he was decent in his first game after signing, and rubbish in the game he was subbed soon after when he was putting on a bit of a limp, beyond that has he actually played because I dont remember it, must have been a long time ago. Hopefully hes gone due to not fulfilling his contract (i.e playing football for GTFC) by summer.

If u find the Holloway interview soon after signing scannell, ollie said something like..... scannell joined a club, forgrt who, was made promises about games, they changed manager and he didn't like it, was homesick, and he wants to play for me and have a fresh start.  

Then ollie leaves, and history repeats itself?!

The interviewers seem to have stopped asking Hurst about him.

He's obviously talented, and was MoM away against Crawley playing central midfield. It feels like he's conned his way into a contract with us, and had no intention of pulling his weight or playing much. It's all very strange because both IH and PH have commented on his fitness levels, and yet in the Crawley game he looked fit as a fiddle and actually worked very hard the whole game.

I still feel that we should at least have him on the bench, as he has more quality than the rest of the bench combined and could surely manage at least 20 mins (if his fitness is genuinely an issue).

Something happened  right at the beginning of the season, Ollie stated  that in an interview and wouldn't elaborate, hardly selected him after that. Useless signing.

Bad apple I would think. Hurst wont play anyone who doesnt conform to his ideal 24/7.
Change that and you lose the team ethic that we know Hurst can build, just one player who gets a game who the rest of the group dont see putting in the effort day in day out then you are fcked long term.
Bennett, Scannell and others who we dont see or who have been shifted out certainly wouldnt work as hard as those that are in the side now.
Problem is hard work isnt quite enough when you need that moment of quality which those otherwise lazy half arsed players can bring. Fine balancing act.
