Got it sorted out in the end.... just

Had to use a different browser and that let me on

Must have been something strange going on with my account though as I got the confirmation of purchase email at about quarter past five....

Usually as soon as you subscribe to a game it confirms the purchase

Anyway 10 quid in to the club's coffers later.... honours even though it could easily have gone to either side
