I've been flagging up Colchester for months and they just keep on dropping. If they carry on in the same vein, we can catch them. Over the last 6 games, we have taken 8 points to their 4. We also have a game in hand.

With a little bit of luck, we would have already caught them.

I really hope we can catch them as they are in free fall so it’s possible hope barrow beat them on Monday ideal senario .

Barrow aren’t going down, no chance. It’s Town v Southend v Colchester. UTM.

Funny how things turn out. We drew with Colchester and beat Barrow. As it transpires, we would have been better off drawing with Barrow and beating Colchester. Same  amount of points but its Colchester we are now targeting. Barrow are too consistent for us to catch them now. It's fine margins. Barrow have won 5 of last 7, we have won 1 and drawn 6. The difference being that they have a regular scorer in Quigley. They are no better than us apart from that crucial area and shows the value of a goalscorer.


Crazy really because I thought strikers ‘weren’t signed to score goals’. And ones that do score goals don’t exist at this level.
