Which, if any, would you like GTFC to try to sign permanently. Most, if not all, would probably command a transfer fee.

Admittedly our results havent improved but our performances have made an upturn, but mircles cannot be expected instantly when playing with nearly a full new starting XI.

Personally I would love it if we could get Eastwood, but sadly he is probably the least likely for us to be able to afford.

The scene: a portakabin on a windswept training ground, surrounded by the smell of decay. Some time in late April.

Paul Hurst: well young Eastwood, tha's done us proud lad. Wot aboot leaving Premier league (well, Championship) Sheffiel't Unarted and joining us for a season or two in't conference. Tha'll git almost 45 grand a year and can look forward to playing at Wealdstone and Sutton. And I've just re signed Matt Green on a 3 year contract!

Eastwood: is thee having a laff? Is thee fooking mental? I'm off 'ome mate. Even if Unarted flog me it'll be to a club in't league!

Walks away shaking his head and muttering under his breath something about a fooking pillock......

Miss Scunthorpe. Not a beauty pageant, just sound advice.

I've lost track of what players we have these days, probably a blessing in disguise.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Eastwood without a doubt but I suspect he'll end up higher up the pyramid than us.

I was unsure about Menayese initially but I think he's grown into his role over the last couple of games and looks to be growing in confidence. I wouldn't be averse to signing him alongside a more experienced centre back.

Not sure I'd sign any of the others tbh!

How many loans are we allowed to have in one season?

Holloway signed 7 I think (only Kyle Bennett remains) and Hurst has signed 5 more (Eastwood, El Mizouni, Adams, Menayese and Matete).

That's 12 for the season. I think we're allowed a maximum of 8 at any one time, and a max of 5 to be named in a match day squad of 18.

I'm guessing someone at the football club has done the numbers here, but you'll have to excuse me if I'm not gushing with confidence. Our record in this sort of department has not been the best.

Eastwood, definitely, but I doubt he would want to come, especially if we are in the NL.

Adams, Menayese and Matete have all shown some promise, though not consistently. Some of them might be tempted if we stay up, but I would have thought not if we go down.

Matete for sure, the best player at the club by a country mile, though no chance even if we avoided the drop.
