Interesting how they are rewarding existing season ticket holders that have stuck by them with their 2021/2022 season ticket pricing.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Ours will go up, will still have a no refund policy and probably go on sale really early for a change so the office staff can get furloughed a bit quicker.

Oh...hang on.....sorry...... I was thinking of the old regime.

Will they still be recording ST holders on a ledger using quill and ink??

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Any comments about the old regime not rewarding those who bought a season ticket this season are unfair. I heard they were going to send everyone a £50 club shop voucher (to be used on the 30th February).

Lets be fair, they use the pen and ink system as a back up in case they lose the master floppy disc with all the details on.

I felt incredibly valued after the club told me in a letter than I was getting my iFollow pass for free and I could have a voucher to A free calendar (subject to availability)...

Seriously though everyone knew the risk when getting a season ticket and really there's no legitimate claim to any refund.  That said, there's a huge PR opportunity for the club/new owners to take if they do something meaningful here.  I seem to think there was something put out by the Trust a few weeks back that options were been explored.

That pricing by Oldham is really low though, especially as they get similar gates to ourselves.  Can understand the Bradford model on treble of what we get but anyone have any idea how they manage this?

I guess they’re prepared to take the hit/gamble or simply have a kind heart.

How many STs did we shift in the end? I mean surely offering those folk a half price one next year and then precious ST first dibs as usual wouldn’t be hard or that costly.

I’ve always maintained that it’s our choice to purchase and we know the risks regardless but at times it felt like they were happy to take the cash but little else.

There’s a massive opportunity here for the new regime to maximise and capitalise on this. I’d imagine they’ve already got some ideas.

Think ST's are around 1350. If you have a look at the minutes from when the trust met with GTFO recently http://www.marinerstrust.co.uk.....Trust-and-GTFO-2.pdf it mentions the possibility of a pro-rata reduction on next seasons prices.
