Just heard it on RH

Not really what we wanted but guess maybe it'll allow Hurst to keep on trying to work on things in training with the new look squad

Not sure how I feel. More chance for Hurst to work with the players and, fingers crossed, rivals play out games with no return. The alternative is they pick up points and we potentially start to get cast adrift.

Yeah it's dangerous.  Either Barrow waste a game in hand and it's a shot in the arm for us or everyone else wins and the mental hurdle gets higher.

Well, Barrow can't pull away as their game is off too.
I'll take this as a positive, weather due to be better next week so Hurst n Doig will have 5 clear days on the grass with the lads.

Hadn't actually looked at the other fixtures.  5 games are already off and the others are at risk, could be a very quiet day.  As you were then.

There's already 7 games off, will be more I'd imagine...

Bolton v Stevenage

Bradford v Salford

Cambridge v Southend

Carlisle v Crawley

Colchester v Mansfield

Forest Green v Barrow

Grimsby v Tranmere

Harrogate v Orient

Morecambe v Scunthorpe

Oldham v Exeter

Port Vale v Newport

Walsall v Cheltenham

Even more airtime to fill on the EFL show on Quest.

If only they had a motormouth special guest they could rely on to waffle on for the best part of an hour and half...

Personally gutted the game is off as I was looking forward to it, weirdly.

But seeing as we haven't trained properly all week and with the number of new players arriving, another week is probably the best bet for us at the minute.

Is that classed as warm weather training as it’s down south?

We will probably get fined by the FA for calling the match off so early......or training too often....or for Hurst using the word 'us' incorrectly.

Weirdly enough I am disappointed and glad at the same time. Really hope the team will look sharp and that they are ready for a long overdue win in the next game!

I'm in the camp that believes it will help to give Hurst more time with the players. Might mean Morais is fit for the next game too?

What did I say on the phone to you on Tuesday? The weather forecast was terrible up to Saturday, but then warms up from Sunday morning. So why didn't some clubs make an early decision back then & put the games back to Sunday? If they had made that call on Wednesday it could have been arranged, now it's too late.

I don't think Town needed to do that. but a fair few clubs have a pile-up of fixtures as it is and you'd think they'd do whatever they could to get a game out of the way.

It's called common sense but the FA, EFL and particularly the NL are null and void of it.

Away to Exeter. We always win there. (And they always win here).

Well for the past couple of seasons anyway.

If you’re still in Irvine there’s a bit of a town fan living close by. My Uncle has been up there years but he still follows the Mariners.

I think there's more chance that most of us will be under soil before a new ground gets built .
