GRIMSBY Town Football Club directors are delighted to announce the appointment of the club's former accountant, Stephen Marley as advisor to the board. Stephen was until recently a senior partner at Weaver Wroot Certified Chartered Accountants who are the company’s accountants and auditors and has been involved with the club for the past 35 years. Not only has he been accountant to the club he has also been a trusted advisor to the board over many years providing his expertise on such matters as company law and taxation planning for the proposed new stadium. Stephens wealth of skills will further benefit the club, in particular with its planned relocation project which he already has been extensively involved in. 9yrs on........and absolutely no closer to a new ground at all. Cronyism is the only reason for most of them to even be there as they offered very little in actual backing to the club. Just a puppet board with fancy titles so Fenty could use the club for his own ambitions of climbing the political ladder while pretending he's not still running the shitshow. Hopefully they can bring in some people who actually have an idea how to run a football club and not somebodies personal tax dodging advisers.
