If Lenny scores a few goals and helps to keep us in the football league, the sort of transfer fee we would be talking about will seem like a very small price to have paid. Reading some of these comments, some people seem to think it would come out of their pockets. I trust Paul Hurst's judgement.

Okay I'll ask you this, if you took the name off the CV and simply looked at - What type of player he is, his track record, his age, the level of clubs played for and current level playing at.

Would you even entertain the idea of paying a fee for him?

Yes
If Paul Hurst wants him.

Are people not going off an a tangent here? It says we’ve made an approach, not an offer. It could be exactly the same as Coke, seeing the possibility of getting him on a free. That fact hurst imitated that we’re not close to signing him suggests we’re not willing to pay.

And as Ginny says, if we did decide to, it’d be for a few thousand. I still find it funny that people still can’t accept that he was a good player for us before (and no I’m not saying I think we should sign him because of that - I’d prefer someone different).

According to the Hereford site LJL has told the club he doesn't want to play for them anymore. Expect this isn't dead in the water yet and Monday could be interesting!!

I thought Hurst was well respected in the game with a book full of contacts, but he only seems able to tap up either his ex players, or in Cokes case indirectly linked to the club through an ex player.

I think coke is a wise signing, experience and obviously shown Hurst something.

But paying a fee for LJL is one i would never agree with.

Ha, won't listen to this poster's LJL views as he disqualified himself last time around....

Now isn't the time to gamble. Go with what you know, trust and have confidence in.
