Despite his run of poor form Macca really cares and that's evident.

Do I think a keeper captain is the right thing? Probably not but if the 10 numpties in front of him would man up and take some responsibility then maybe it would not be that much of a problem.

At the moment I'm more concerned about when the next point is going to be won and would suggest that's higher on Hurst's list too.

Apart from Hendrie In reality is there another credible candidate? Changing a captain now would not serve any value.

Might be a bit of an ask as a box to box midfielder.

Would still be a bit faster that some of ours though.......plus he might raise some funds for the club!
