11 days into the new year and no new faces, excluding Habergham . Is it now the time to sign a team of mercenaries or players on decent win bonus's.

£4,000 for a win, £500 per goal for first two and £1,000 per goal thereafter. Lose no money, draw £1,000.

BIG negative is obvious it will cost money, which according to PD is not a problem

BIGGER PLUS we should, given the right players, stay up

Even BIGGER NEGATIVE   CONFERANCE

I don't like the idea but is it an option while we have the games left.

I'd go eight thousand, no nine thousand, no te-te-te-tell you what, it's nine and a half thousand pounds.

It is possible that picking numbers out of the air for bonuses is an angle Hurst hadn't thought of. Email it in, why not.

I seem to think Shearer was employed by a brewery to play for Newcastle. So sign them as ground assistants, ball cleaners or any other job description you like on minimum wages based on a top up on Towns result. They would of course play for town free of charge.

I'm not intelligent ( I can hear the cheers and approval) but their has to be a way around this. We have to survive till next and the become a normal club under normal circumstances once again, Survival regardless of how has to be the ultimate aim.

Steve Evans did plenty of tricks at Boston. Some of his dubious remunerative tricks you touch upon during this thread like turtle head upon cloth
