Would a conference team look just as attractive to them? You can please some of the forumites some of the time but not all the forumites all of the time

A league team in a higher league than 2 would have gates of around 7,000; whereas in the conference about 3,000 if your lucky. 4,000 people @ say £20 a time x 23 games = a lot of cash. The agreement includes a significant financial penalty to either side if they back out of completion. Similar to buying a house. You pay the deposit and if you back out you lose it.
