A guess at Nsiala, we lack pace at the back..if Ipswich would let him go. pretty sure it will be someone that P.H knows very well.

Yes, Nolan would add creativity we simply don't have. Nsiala pace at centre back we desperately need. Both should have better options in all honesty, and both should be out of our pay range for permanent transfers at least. But I do expect Hurst to try and get both in. They would both go straight into the first eleven and improve us massively. Both players are 28 now and in their prime and would be top signings IMO. Nolan in particular wasn't here long but he was magnificent, ability, creativity, goals and workrate. He was a huge reason we won promotion.

Both have done well relatively speaking in their careers . Its going to be tough to get them to play for Grimsby eg lower wage cuts and quality of football given both have tasted time in the championship. Similar to Omar Bogle.

Agreed. But looking at their stats this season, both seem out of favour. They've followed Hurst twice already, if they're loan moves then they wouldn't have to agree to a pay cut as surely they would for a permanent transfer. And they'd be in the shop window and playing games. Like I said though, they should have better options.

Unlikely Nsiala would come back, didn’t have the best of relationship with the fans, Nolan would be great but don’t think he’d want to drop down a league. Hurst has found a few gems in the past hopefully he can do it again. UTM

Players will drop a league if they get regular football; especially if their parent club are paying their wages.

It's hard to get good players to clubs in Jan. Anyone decent won't be allowed to leave their clubs and we can't pay a fee for anyone.
Think there will be a few loan signings to begin with and possibly a non contract player or two.
Billy Clark says you're wrong!

Billy Clark says you're wrong! ps to those who've mentioned Nolan and Nsiala, 2 minutes on the internet would've told you that you're being abit unrealistic. both have been pretty regular in the team, but both have suffered recent injuries nsiala's hamstring went a month ago and Nolan has had a calf strain
