In all seriousness I don’t think we need to form a Phoenix club . Cleethorpes Town are a well run club with the potential to grow as the replacement for GTFC should the worst happen . They represent the whole area as GTFC do .

There's already a club in the town that is ambitious and could do good things if it suddenly had 4-5000 people backing it and it already has strong links with GTFC - why set up a new one?

Buy into Cleethorpes Town FC and re-name it Grimsby & Cleethorpes Town, already established and got a ground.
