Instead of moaning about the present and past for a bit. GTFC in the future. What's on your wishlist to present to anyone looking to take over the club?
Four major things for me..
New stadium, well thought out, with matchday experience at the heart of it Not particularly the aesthetics of the Amex Stadium at Brighton, and we wouldn't have the budget anyway, but apparently the stadium itself has been well thought out with the paying public at the heart of it.,especially for disabled supporters. Better matchday experience, more paying public, larger playing budget (when the wage cap gets scrapped), better football on the pitch.
New training facilities. Obvious one, but should be an essential part of the package. Impressive training facilities help performance on the pitch and also are a huge part of attracting players as it's where they spend 90% of the working week. Again, we wouldn't have their budgets, but research visits to the highly regarded Southampton and Leeds training grounds could offer an idea of the best principles to put into a lower budgeted facility.
Complete digitalisation and modernisation of the club along with a freshening up of the club's identity and better PR. Root and branch overhaul to bring the club into the 21st century. The list is endless where improvements can be made.
Complete rethink on the club's retail offer.. ie what's in the club shop. A change of kit manufacturer is well due. Adidas or Kappa would be nice, they both offer really cool playing and training kits along with better looking quality merchandise. Time to stop looking solely at the bottom line, I'm sure there's a greater margin item by item with Errea, but investment in higher quality and better design is needed. In the end, if the product offer is better, customers will be happier with their purchases and we'll sell more. Why is it that the clothing product in our club shop always looks so cheap, tacky and poorly designed? Everything so black and grey? It doesn't have to be this way, no taste or thought involved at all.
What would you like to see at future GTFC?

Agree with all that Bigdog just like to add.
Regarding PR we should have one dedicated official who informs us everything we need to know.
They should be easy to communicate with if fans have any reasonable queries they would like answers to.
I am sure if this take over goes through we will be very satisfied how the club is run.
Unlike now where if you disagree with the major shareholder he wants to turn it into a fight.

Not being at the nervous end of the league every season would be a start.
GTFC is tired and dated and needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom. If it doesn't happen, fans will continue to drift away. There are too many other attractions of a Saturday now.
Would love a dockside stadium with renovated icehouse and kasbah, shops, bars, theatre, museum etc.
Everyone is totally fed up now, and what happens this season will be crucial.

Fenty nowhere near the boardroom. A new ground is well overdue and Fenty almost certainly can't deliver that now that his reputation is shot to pieces. A new training ground paid for with clean money and hopefully part of any new stadium development. A team to be proud of on and off the pitch. https://youtu.be/_bPC4MVbpSoBoston United are unveiling their new stadium this week in a series of videos. A chairman and backroom staff like theirs wouldn't go amiss.

Agree with all of this. Investment in our infrastructure is desperately needed. We need to drag our club out of the dark ages. Squad wise. I’d like us to develop a model similar to Peterborough’s. Actually spend money on transfers again..... on talent that you think you can develop and sell for a profit. Include a sell on again in that transfer. And then re invest all the profits into repeating the process.

A very similar model that Crewe has made a success of. I'd agree everything mentioned and would love to see some of this implemented regardless of who makes the decisions at the club.

I would like to see the club at the centre of the town, engaged in the community, leading on development and modernisation, acting with a strong social and moral conscience, doing great work with local schools and youth groups. That should be the starting point of everything the club wants to do and be.

And off the pitch we are many divisions below them. Their training facilities are significant upgrade on ours too. They train at the Keepmoat Stadium for recruitment reasons.
