Beginning of the season we had appointed a new manager, he brought in players from non-league then on this day we played Rochdale Jobling scored an own goal to make it 3-1 to Rochdale. I remember thinking that was as bad as losing 4-1 to Bradford Park Avenue 20 yrs earlier. I was certain we'd go out of the League the team were poor really bloody Eddie the Eagle Edwards playing for us. Well how wrong I was.
Now I'm hoping history repeats it's self.

But that manager had done his homework before he brought those players in
and then had them play to their strengths.

that manager knew everything about the players he brought in......he'd actually seen them play, he also retained the players that were not his, a tremendous judge of a player.

Holloway had his hand tied to be fair, he was given the dregs to choose from. Not an excuse for recent performances though, these guys are still classed as professional but playing anything but, based on last nights second half.

I thought his phone was red hot with quality players wanting to play for him?
