The deal has only fallen through now we know, but I’ve no doubt if they could have hushed it through they would have. By which time it would be too late. Now, there’s an argument that could be made that any investment is a good thing, but the point is an investment from Shutes and a consortium of local business people is infinitely more valuable than money pilfered off widows and laundered through casinos. The fact the club have had the audacity blame fans, fans that have handed over actual cash, no loans, no false promises but actual cash is flipping disgraceful. Clearly the club are entertaining the idea of this offer...I mean they must be acruslly thick. They’ve literally just told us that they/he has zero intention to selling. This ducking charlatan turns up and offers a million, allegedly, and the club were clearly deliberating whether to take it. Had folk not found out I suspect they’d have taken it...a million quid from a convicted fraudster but they wouldn’t take a penny from Shutes simply because he wanted them all gone. It’s a flipping disgrace... 'the poor and the needy are selfish and greedy'...well done Mozza
