Just a reminder, we have a Relegation Six Pointer tomorrow. Southend must be rubbing their hands watching us in-fighting from afar.

Battle of the basket cases. Southend looked home and dry on that from however recent form suggests we may well come into our own in the second half of the season. It's going to be an exciting race to the finish, that's for sure.

With 30ish games left I wouldn't be calling anything a six pointer yet.

Someone saying Southend coming into form, bloody heck they’ve just beaten the scunts, that’s no indication of form.

30 games or not the fundamentals of the mathematics make it a 6 pointer

If we win we are 10 points clear of them, if they win they are only 4 points behind us, I take your point of there being 30 games left, but this is definitely a 6 pointer, and even more important psychologically than mathematically

Far more entertainment going on off the pitch.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you give him an excuse for him to escape from the wife and kids for the weekend and drink lots of beer.

Not at all, the points range between the the two clubs winning and losing is what defines a six pointer. We win we go ten points clear we lose its four points, hence the well used phrase 6 pointer.

Yeah exactly - I mean if we were 20 points ahead a win would make it 23 and a defeat 17 so nothing like .... hang on 🤔

Ha touche, my apologies to henryscat, the close proximity of the clubs accrued points is what is key

So a couple of years ago Exeter where bottom of the league after 19 matches but ended up in the playoffs narrowly missing out on automatic.
We have played 17 games and talk of relegation is beyond the joke at the moment. Give your heads a wobble .

Plus the fact that the window opens to strengthen which normally happens half way through the season not a quarter tells me that the table will look a lot different come the end of the season.!

The hours after a game relegation seems very likely but as the days pass optimism grows and the playoffs are on the horizon again by the time the next kick-off is upon us. Only to be dashed on the rocks of another dismal performance.
