Hopefully the club whose PR strategy is clearly read the fishy get wound up and then reel off a load of rhetoric and denials. I’m actually looking forward to this Monday statement if they dare on how this convicted fraudster is in anyway connected to our club ?

This time for someone to have a few too many red wines and release one yet...we’ve had that before on a Sunday evening...

For how quick they usually are I wouldn’t at all be surprised if this isn’t addressed until later in the week, if indeed ever.

There’s undeniable evidence that JF is in business with May and has been officially for at least 7/8 months. Even giving JF the benefit of doubt with the name change, you can’t seriously tell us he entered this arrangement without a background check.

The time for honesty and integrity is right now. As soon as possible.

Let’s face it someone from the inner circle must have tipped the telegraph off that May was coming , they don’t just leave a photographer sat outside the Findus stand every week waiting for scandal

Is anyone else just a little bit suspicious of the timing? In the last week there was a huge buildup of anti-Fenty sentiment...and then suddenly this "oh look who could be running your club" happens.

I expect some sort of statement along the lines of "this is why I'm still here and you be grateful"

The documents supplied by Dan on another thread are very revealing.
Polish person who lives in Fenty's house in Humberstone ?? is on the board of a company that May recently left. Companies house have Fentys address as Manchester. May was on the board for several months. May is seen at Blundell Park. Shutes and co who have the best interests of the town as a whole cant get a look in. This stinks!

It might be, but it takes a lot of planning for Fenty to have taken a share in a company with May months ago just so he could make some kind of point.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I wouldn’t look too much into Fenty’s address at companies house, it’s probably an accountants or solicitors. I live in Manchester yet according to Companies House my address is in London.

"Grimsby Live has approached Mr Fenty for a comment, but he has declined at this moment in time."

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

It was hardly a secret meeting was it though? There were less than 100 people in the ground and he's sat next to the Chairman.

Teflon coat is going to get its annual outing I think! Additionally would things like this make any other potential investors run for the hills? Would you want your cash put into a club where:

1. Most clubs lose money not make money, in fact nearly all lose money
2. Other directors seem to not have any scruples with regards who they hold court with
3. The stadium and training facilities require millions of pounds of investments and not fit for purpose
4. Directors have not offered anything in terms of serious investment for years yet are happy to spend others money
5. Directors never seem to want to take any responsibility and always blaming others

Of course due diligence was done, in time honoured tradition , any prospective investor is first shown one of John's cars , if the investor cannot resist kicking the tyres he's out the window, if he doesnt he is then eligible to progress to a test drive.
