I’ve just been advised to check my emails by my brother as we have both received an email from the club, telling us that they are preparing to let fans (ST Holders) back in soon. (My email went into my spam folder).
Just thought I’d make people aware in case they need to contact the club as requested in the email. UTMM.

Don't know how that can be, unless we get dropped to tier 2 next week.

Do they know something we don't?

No we aren't - it's just the club being proactive and getting everything in order for the (unlikely) event that NE Lincs is moved into Tier 2 next week.

It's the awaydays I'm really missing rather than my trips to BP. God knows when they'll be back.

It made me wonder if they do the "HALF SEASON TICKETS" again will fans purchasing them have the same chance of getting into BP as a full STH if that makes sense ?

There is no good reason at the minute why we won’t be tier 2 . We have a lower rate than a lot of current tier 2 areas

The hospital has a lot of normal flu patients in at the minute leaving little margin for an excess of covid patients either locally or from the wider Lincolnshire region. 50/50 if we go T2.

Lincoln and Boston have some of the highest rates in the country . Rates are falling in NE Lincs but rising in other areas of Lincolnshire and I think they will look at the county as a whole.

Can't see us being in tier 2 personally.

I'm not sure but I don't think they pair us up with Lincoln and Boston, I seem to think we are in the Humber area so are in with Hull whose cases are dropping loads as well, so we could go into tier 2, our cases are loads lower than parts of London which is tier 2.

That is the reason for the localised areas , they do exactly that

Going back to BP at the moment seems more like punishment for shoplifting than a pleasurable way to spend leisure time.

My first thought when I read the email wasn't great I can't wait to get back like it should have been.

It was like a previous poster said do i really have to !

I've paid my money so suppose it's up to me whether I do go when we are able to. And as a fan for many  years I of course will do cos that's what you do .. support the team through thick and thin.

But at the moment the state we are in there is little enthusiasm in me for it at present. The last 15 years or so seems  to be a constant case of deja vous and a recurring theme of simply watching a poor team.

We are, like someone said previously in the Humber region with Scunny  and Hull, and not with the Lincolnshire region.  Having said that, I still think they will find a way to leave us in tier 3 😩.

As has already been said earlier N.E. Lincs is classed as being part of the Yorkshire and Humber region, so Boston and Lincolns figures will not have any impact on N.E. Lincs tier.

And when you fall back into the mud it hurts a lot.
No! None of it was true, none of those things we thought we could see existed at all.
All that was really there was still more misery

Its been that long did we get a ST book for this season,???
If we did i have lost mine in the house move  ??

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

A list of tier 3 locations to do community testing (like Liverpool trialled) has been announced. NE Lincolnshire isn’t on the list. Only Barnsley & Bradford from the Yorkshire & Humber region are included. Obviously that doesn’t mean NEL will drop to tier 2, but it certainly indicates that NEL and much of the wider region are close to the bottom of tier 3 than the top.

It's almost as if the government have some kind of cogent plan.

When Hull had the most covid cases in the country, they asked for testing like Liverpool and didn't get it. Other tier 3 regions are patiently waiting for testing sites to be set up and nothing is happening. Meanwhile, tier 2 London has started testing school kids.

They don't give a fook about the north, or what tier we are in.
