I thought he was a really good player, certainly better than we have now (that is a recurring theme) but you never know what goes on behind the scenes and whether he ever really settled here.

Most seasons I think we can do better than this set of players, but every season they seem to get slightly worse.

I don't think he will come back but he is better than what we have now.

Ollie will use his own contacts and as far as I know they do not cover Sweden.

I thought he was alright to be honest. I don't think he was lazy at all but players with the laid-back personality that he had will always divide opinion to an extent as they don't run around like a headless chicken all the time.

He had strength, could hold the ball up, hold defenders off, had a bit of pace and trickery, and scored a few goals.

I think he undoubtedly had more about him than what most of our current strikers have. That's no offence intended to our current players, most of whom are either at the end of their careers, the start of their careers (here on loan) or have made a massive jump up in levels.

I think Ogbu was on quite a decent wage and I would guess that's why Holloway wanted rid of him (to help him bring in Clarke, Tilley, Grandin, Burnley loanees). I wasn't buying that whole "he doesnt look happy here and the lads haven't helped him settle" line, nor do I blame Holloway for spinning it that way as it's unlikely a manager would come out and say a particular player earns too much money and we need to get rid.

It's typical of our fan base to overhype players after they've left. Ogbu was bang average at best and has performed in a league that is far worse than our own. Found his level but good luck to him.

That's what I said your bang on average is still better than what we have now.

I would love it at the moment if all our players were bang on average

Alternatively, some people just didn't think he was as bad as others did.

He wasn't necessarily easy on the eye at times with his unconventional style, and his decision-making could be inconsistent. But he was someone who tried to make things happen and was prepared to take risks to try and do this.

Not suggesting he was a world-beater, nor is anyone else if you actually read the posts.
