If that's true then I dont disagree with the decision if I am honest despite being one of Macc's biggest supporters. He has looked at times that he knows he is going to be picked regardless of his performance which has been patchy at the best. Be interesting to see how he responds which may be the whole point!

Even though he’s made mistakes, he has been one of our better players and has made some crucial saves at important times. No player has the right to start every game but feels to me like Ollie is looking for a scapegoat to deflect from our poor start and his disastrous signings.

Why not? He's been perfectly serviceable when he's played since signing for us. I'm much happier going with the experienced solid option in Russell over the inexperienced unknown in Battersby.

Has he? Fairly sure we havent won a game. My point being i dont see either of them as a challenge to Macca. If ollie’s sending a message out, then get a new keeper. Not a 38 year old GK coach
