If this is true, it’s one of the lowest acts imaginable by the board.


Exactly this. They had the taxpayer cover Limbrick’s notice period too.

Our board/ club would not do this though, don’t forget we are the best run club (apart from on the pitch) in the country according to a certain world class manager.
