Hello all. I am running a workshop in my school on the importance of different departments working towards the same goal. I want to use a Town open play move from the back that resulted in a goal but my knowledge is weak. Can anyone recommend one I might find on our Youtube channel? I am doing this workshop next Monday so have a bit of a rush on. My lad has recommended the Ramsey goal for Arsenal against Fulham which I will use of I can't find a Mariners example. Cheers and UTM!

actually I am going to use several examples, including the Matt Green Chelsea strike, three moves only, one world clas strike. Please do send suggestions though, I am enjoying teaching Indonesian teachers (I moved) about Town

Absolutely brilliant goal. Would be right up there with my favourite of all time. I love the commentary as well. Having got used to football without fans, I have to admit seeing the crowd packed in Behind the goal Celebrating gave me goosebumps and tugged on the old heart strings a little bit. Special period in our history and my life. Man we were spoilt.

This was my first full season following Town, and I remember this game and this goal like it was yesterday. Thanks for posting.

Both sides were great passers of the ball. Super football.

Yes, that goal against Huddersfield was the first that springs to mind.  I remember being at that game and Town were on fire that night

Seem to think he was No 9 a lot in his first few years with us.

Clive as No 10 and Woods as No 11.  Even when Livvo came I seem to remember him wearing 11 a few times.

Ivano always wore 11 too so can't think what number Groves wore then.  Maybe it was just in his second spell he wore 11 more and then took it as his squad number when they came in?

I seem to remember one of Vernam’s goals against Colchester last season involved all but one Town player, something like 23 passes (or more?).

That’s exactly what I was shouting at my mate whilst hugging him and dancing around like a feckin eejit in the back of the Ponny. Great great days.
