So much for him retiring from football to concentrate on his music.

Pleased for the lad if true. Can't see anything to this effect as of right now though.

Following in the footsteps of two great Town strikers Sir Matt and Sir Clive.

A lot to live up to, hope he can fill their boots (doubt it personally)

Oh dear......... judging by the photo on the website they let him sign with a very cheap looking plastic pen, small details make the difference, his agent should be demanding minimum of a Papermate , Parker or maybe pushing for a Montblanc for Omar's signature....standards people, standards.

Hope it works out and at least gives us another old boy to look out for on the Quest highlights.

I said it was probably a smoke screen him hanging up his boots. He was probably in talks with them when he did that .
Some weeks before he said come and get me . I know its difficult times but i would guess knowing town we left it to the last minute and someone else stept in again .. I can see now the hanging up of boots was a sign that he was not coming and it was good bye he was off elswhere

Pleased he has got a club and a decent one at that .The fact they have signed him just for a year as you loosely pointed out means there probably concerned at his lack of success since his stint at Grimsby and are sitting on the fence.

Just hope the fans get behind him and he gets his mojo back.

I hope it works out for the lad but I’m not hugely confident.

Charlton fan here.
Hi.

So what can we expect from Bogle?

The doom and gloomers have been having their say on our forums.
You think they'd let up, considering the excrement we've had going on recently!

I like the look of him. Seems his best days so far were with you. And we love a Grimsby striker!

Cheers

Definitely got strength and ability, good hold up play and distribution and if he is on song a dangerous striker. Let's things get to him tho and can get his head down.

Best is he is believed in, the fans get behind him and he has confidence.

When he left, I remember saying that I think he is top end of League 1, bottom end of Championship standard. He's never really done anything of note above League 2 as yet, but he was too good for this league and was scoring for fun, even though we were a middling League 2 team at the time.

As others have said, he is a confidence player and can get his head down if things are not going his way. I'm really not sure what he will do at your club, and I think your management aren't sure either, hence the 1 year deal.

Hope it works out for him.
