Ollie stated in either his official website interview or his Matt Dean one; i forget, watched both, that 2 maybe 3 of his squad should be going out on loan to get some games.

I'm gonna guess; Starbuck, Hope and Battersby, although I could be some of the newcomers; Jackson and Sisay.

So that's 5 guesses from me!!

I think either Sisay or Jackson might be on a 1 year deal. I hope they keep them here and get a chance.

sisay one year according to codalmighty but presumably chances reduced by Windsor arrival and Hanson return to fitness....

Ridiculous really, we are hard pushed financially and now have too many loans in to be able to play them all at once and will be sending some people out on loan ourselves just as Ollie has finished "assembling" his squad.
As Ollie stated that would also mean seperate training sessions for any players returning or training part time with any loan club when they train back with us.

Seems a whole lotta trouble in the current environment for basically trying to get players "match" fit , surely in this day and age of sport science a players "typical" physical exertion or expected performance levels should be able to be replicated in other ways without exposing them to other social groups in potentially higher risk areas of the country.

It's not just about fitness though, good form in competitive matches brings confidence even if it is at a lower level, not the same as training

Painter and Curran are both on loan at Spalding. They have to come train alone now. If we send another 2 to a different team, surely they have to come in separate to Painter and Curran?

They are playing games but coaches can't get stuck into them properly when this is going on.

I hope Sisay goes straight into their starting XI and plays well.

Its only for a month so Ollie probably needs to see how he can perform when needed, without the added risk of him not performing up front if played for Town.

Its a good move. Good luck to them both.

Indeed. Players want to play and if he's down the pecking order with lack of game time its a good move. The standard aint too bad and probably similar to what they are used to anyway.
Hope he shines and gets plenty of minutes and comes back to GTFC to challenge for the shirt

We should be using both Clee Town and GY boro as feeder clubs personally

Do you honestly believe that all the financial implications of our squad hasn't been costed and taken into consideration? I'm sure Ollie knows all what is involved because he does have a foot in both camps being both a member of the Board and the Manager.

No, i believe that is first and foremost in our thinking , just seems daft to me that Ollie has been looking forward to getting a full team, competition for places, strength in depth etc then almost as soon as thats happened he loans some out.
As we are the parent club , i would understand that we are still paying their wages, so in effect we are saving nothing by doing so, in fact probably impacting resources more by having to have these players trained monitored independantly to avoid Covid risk.

Going to be strange old season and will take some getting used to.

Aren’t we there already in reality?

Looking at some of their signed players I think we’ve been a feeder club for Cleethorpes TBH.

Quite possibly Herts, i'm not sure  how many seasons we have sent players to these clubs.

Ollie really rates Sisay, but hes not match fit, hence the loan. Clee need a boost on the pitch, so it could be a win for both clubs hopefully.

Excellent. A few more goals and there's a chance he may slot straight into Towns starting XI, because he alone has scored more goals than GTFC in 3 league games
