Arsenal for freeing up funds to sign Thomas Partey from Atletico for £45m by making staff (including Gunnersaurus) redundant. I’m sure there’ll be other clubs doing similar. The PL - and of course the rest of the world - spending £1BN + on transfers this window in the current climate is disgusting.

I heard a rumour he had been sacked as he had forgotten he was a club employee and had been a little too empathetic to supporters.....................quite common apparently in the mascot world, blurred lines and all that

Mesut Ozil would wouldn't he.The pittance Arsenal are saving doesn't look good following multi million pound signings in transfer fees. Ozil is I guess also a tad unpopular in north London following his less than mediocre performances on the pitch given his huge salary & associated bad press. Not sure that I necessarily  blame him but this is a stunt methinks to make him look the generous good guy & his employers miserly.
