It made laugh when he said himself and Hurst in a open relationship.

Personality it sounded like he's making out he no say in negotiations, personally I think he's saying that thinking down the line if town ever needed a new manager I bet Doig would apply and use I had no say in leaving as assistant.

Plus Doig has to know what's being said because he would have to ask family about Shrewsbury, Ipswich he must have given Hurst the thumbs up.

Town, Shrewsbury he could of said no to Hurst and potentially have applied for manager position at either club.

I still think Hurst and deputy Doig have something to offer at our level, Ipswich was a step too far and given time I think they would have done a good job at Scunny.

I would have happily had them back after Bignot, Slade and Jolley but we've got Ollie now and I'm happy with that.
