Just curious. Limbrick seems to have faded from the picture lately. What is his role as assistant manager? What's he doing, just coaching at Cheapside?

Anyone would fade from the picture working under Holloway. No one else gets a word in!

Three things guaranteed in life; death, taxes and Ipswin acting like a male private on the fishy.

I'm pleased Limbrick was kept on when Jolley got the sack, always liked him.

Not management material but a valuable assistant in my view.

...........Scored a last minute header away to Everton in the early 1980s.  The season they won the league and were unbeaten at home all season (bar Town defeat).

Yeah and what a great player he was, I can remember him scoring for us just after he came on for his debut at BP, first touch I think?

Shame he came back and tarnished his reputation.

Tarnished by association.

He came on as sub V Charlton and scored with a low shot from just outside the box. Great finish from a great player.

What would you expect him to be doing?
