Nice insight into Max's journey to GTFC. Let's hope he can kick on and force himself into being a first team regular. Wouldnt mind seeing more of these kinds of videos.

Love the lad! His enthusiasm for his local team is something special. Wish we had a team full of Max Wrights.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Below was the intro to the video on the OS so sounds like there will more.

"Gain an insight into the members of the squad, with our new series called Meet The Mariners."

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

These things are usually boring, footballers talking shite.
This on the other hand was a pleasure to watch.
Max comes across brilliantly in this, his passion for football and GTFC is unquestionable.
It’s clear he’s trying to squeeze every ounce of success from the ability he has.

Aside from the interview, I think we are gradually seeing his position change, Holloway is popping him in at wingback and eventually I reckon he’ll end up an attacking fullback. He’s very tenacious for a slight led and even competes in the air.

That's a great little feature.

Considering his age, Max speaks very well in front of camera — none of that monotone nonsense from millionaire footballers. Just a local lad living his dream.

Great production too. We've got some talented photographers, videographers, writers and designers among our fan base — something else we should be proud about.
