Statement from Mr Day on the website. BP to open in October subject to Government advice. Capacity of 17-30%. Looking at the lower end. So i guess thats between 1500-1800?  ST not going on sale yet due to not knowing how many games we will be playing at home

And “capacity” for the ground in total these days is about 8500?

I understand they’re trying to allay some fears etc but seems a bit odd giving examples of numbers when they could literally change tomorrow.

So how on earth do the club accommodate small numbers? Do clubs bank on people being worried and cautious meaning others capitalise?

Where have these numbers and processes come from? Haven’t seen anything elsewhere...

I stand by my original theory, it’s either safe to open the stadiums or it’s not, simple as that. No flipping stupid smaller numbers and that sort of shite, just open or not.

Are the EFL trying to push clubs under? Reading the Chairman’s statement it is clear we are going to have significantly increased running costs and considerably reduced income!!,

Why do we have to start in September?

The only way I see for riding this storm will be much reduced player wages, hence a reduced quality, and increased reliance on our youngsters or we get the maximum number of loan players allowed from a benevolent Premiership club, or two or three, hoping they pick up the majority of their wages.

Hmm - it appears that the official capacity of BP is 9K give or take. Why then do we have Official Attendances given at +/- 7K for sold out against Lincoln/Scunthorpe.?

How can clubs survive with thos sort of crowds allowed in? That's almost a third of our average attendance?

I’d definitely buy a season ticket now, but I only make 60-70% of games with being an exile. If numbers are limited I’ll leave it to those who can make every game. Ifollow for now it seems.

I know the board are only following guidelines etc, but its a bit of a farce if you ask me, yet its ok to see movies at a cinema without a facemask or social distance. but can only let in a very small portion.
