There must be a mistake with a Lincoln’s figures, the way they use to come on here a couple of years ago claiming they were the big all mighty, and have always had bigger crowds then us, hen of course there’s little old scunny, in their rightful place.

Interesting how clubs that more recently become league teams have not progressed much in their ave attendance towards a good league level

In  fact the bottom 9 teams are only fairly recent additions to the League.  Nothing like an old traditional football team

One reason why recent new clubs have low figures is the ground regs that cut maximum attendances. So they can never get the sort of packed Barrett Stand that boosts Town’s averages.

How is this calculated anyone know?  I see MK Dons are above us but our average would be calculated over a longer period than say, Burton or Mk Dons.

Our current average is probably a realistic estimate of what our average would be if we were mid-table League 1 with a new stadium...

I would have a guess, like how average is always calculated.
