In 1889 GTFC left-back Dan Doyle was the first Town player to kill a man, as William Cropper of Staveley FC died the day after Doyle accidently kicked him in the stomach. Guest User	Hardest Ron Cockerill and Geoff bonehead Barker Scott McGarvey was a hard case, could argue with his own shadow. Whimp Tony Daws. Open goal at Derby pulled out of header because keeper was coming in on him.
