Kind of related to this, I hear Norman Hunter has Covid-19.

Frankly, I fear for the virus!

I think this beats all for the hardest Town player of all time.

In 1889 GTFC left-back Dan Doyle was the first Town player to kill a man, as William Cropper of Staveley FC died the day after Doyle accidently kicked him in the stomach.

I don’t know if “accidental” means the same as Whittle to Shearer though!

There are so many that I have seen who were on a par with each other. Cunnington, Dave Worthington, Bobby Cumming, Frank Barton, John Cockrill.

George Santos was a unit. Beast in the air and in the tackle.

What about those tough centre-half’s in the 1960s and 1970s who wore short-sleeved shirts (and no gloves) when we had really cold winters?

Andy Todd wins hands down the hardest . He was a thug . Legendarily traumatised Ewan Roberts in the first minute at Carrow Road and subbed at half time . The only time that happened in his career I’d guess

Hardest Ron Cockerill and Geoff bonehead Barker Scott McGarvey was a hard case, could argue with his own shadow.
Whimp Tony Daws. Open goal at Derby pulled out of header because keeper was coming in on him.
