When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Gary Lineker.

Just because ...

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

KARREN BRADY:

Oh faux-feminist Baroness Brady, with your variant spelling of Karen...this week it's you for the following reasons:

1. You write a regular column for The Sun

Oh you want more reasons do you? Is that not enough?

2. You want to declare the football season null and void as “the health and wellbeing of everyone must come first”. The fact that the despicable shambles of a football club that you are vice-Chairman of are hovering above the relegation zone, like post döner durchfall in a u-bend, has nothing to do with it then?!

3. According to the Premier League Football Fixture Difficulty Ratings, only Man Utd and Spurs have a trickier run-in than West Ham.

3. Peschisolido’s tackle

4. Rufus Brevett’s reaction to your husband’s tackle

5. Baroness Brady: “Further down the [football] pyramid, the greater the threat to future existence. But I suspect that by hook or by crook, most will survive.”

6. The owners of West Ham Utd are beard for hire, David Gold and his fellow greasy urchin David Sullivan... purveyor of jazz mags on a shelf that I could never quite reach...

In 1982, Sullivan was convicted of living off immoral earnings of prostitutes. He successful appealed and was released after serving 71 days in prison.  Sullivan explained that he did not feel embarrassed about the initial source of his early fortunes. "I've made a lot of people happy," he said. "If I was an arms manufacturer or a cigarette manufacturer, and my products killed millions of my clients, I'd have a bit of doubt about the whole thing. I was a freedom fighter. I believe in the right of adults to make their own decisions."

On 26 March 2018 an HMRC tax tribunal ruled that Sullivan had used West Ham United to avoid paying ÂŁ700,000 tax for his own family business, Conegate Ltd. Sullivan used Conegate to buy ÂŁ2m of shares in the holding company that owns West Ham. The same day the shares were converted to "deferred shares", deemed practically worthless and sold back for ÂŁ1 back to the holding company. Conegate thereby the ÂŁ2m loss to reduce its tax bill

7. You (allegedly) triple sheet when you wipe, leaving no loo roll for the rest of us plebs
