There’s a bit of a miserable feeling amongst some and some British Bulldog spirit amongst others but none of us have a match to go to for a few weeks: What are you doing instead?

For me - Saturday brings an early start to the competitive golf season and Sunday will be spent sorting a junk room
and moving stuff into the loft. Rock and roll.

Not much difference for me since going to the match was a rare treat.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

The danger is that the longer it drags on, the more people will find other things to do and lose interest.
Then it's going to be a massive undertaking to get them back.

I’d put money on that first game back at home being a sell out.

Try not to think too far ahead Hagrid. It's three weeks at the moment and we have a three month break between seasons every year. The world will keep turning and we'll all be back at BP before we know it. I'm sure loads of people care a lot about you so stay close to them and there will always be people to talk to on here - we might even be a bit nicer to each other for a bit

Take off somewhere remote in the Campervan.

Trouble is, i have developed cold like symptoms today, with lot's of sneezing. In normal times, i wouldn't think twice about it and carry on as usual, but now i'm wondering if i ought to just sit tight...

Got plenty of bog roll, so no need to go out for a while.

I'm in the process of moving apartment.  New place said I can start  moving stuff in.  Imagine if I had to self isolate halfway between moves.  I could end up with all stuff in one place and me in the other.! Still as I'm in Asia there's no shortage of loo roll.

Monthly medal at Torksey for me and lovely weather to play it in 😩🤬, home, walk the dogs, and then early trip to the Plough to catch up with all the hungover Cheltenham race fans who were hard at it on Gold Cup day.

I think a fair indication that the end of days is nigh will be the point at which bet365 can't offer a single in-play market. Just looking now and Zvezda Yugry Youth are looking good value in the Russian Youth Volleyball.

I'm going to keep myself busy fortifying my house against marauders. It's gonna be like a zombie apocalypse out there soon, and no one is having my hard won toilet rolls. That pensioner next door but one was eyeing up my shopping when i unloaded yesterday. She looks like she's got a bit of fight in her. Now where did i put that baseball bat...

Or i'll take the dog for a long walk.

I was in love with Sandy Denny, or at least with her singing! This is one of the few songs she wrote that I thought sounded better and more plaintive by someone else when I heard Judy Collins do it.

“If all mankind minus one, were of one opinion, and only one person were of the contrary opinion, mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person, than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind.”

Bored! Bored! Bored!

So far today I have kicked my heels, kicked the wifes heels, kicked the back step (mistake), kicked my own heels again (need new heels now) and kicked some glass off the path in the street.

BORED!

I found a new popular pastime on a Saturday afternoon. Shuffling slowly around the supermarket nose to tail behind other trolley pushers, then queue for half an hour to pay. Come on people it’s not Christmas!

If the non-Leagues keep playing then it could actually be financially beneficial to them as more of us look to fill a void.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Just turned on BT Sport for the Halifax game to find "WWE Raw" on before it, do people really actually believe this stuff is real

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Showing your age and memory problems here Golfer. They would have been 33's or 45" although a 33 played at 35 may give a new dance beat experience.

Took my lad to the cinema today, in lieu of our normal Saturday morning training and afternoon watching the match.....

Halfway through Sonic the Hedgehog a handful of popcorn went down the wrong hole and a coughing fit ensued.... I kid you not I counted 8 people move seats to get as far away from me as they could 🤣

Laughed so much I coughed. Good job I’m tucked away at home. 😆

I was that bored I ended up talking to the Mrs.

Apparently she’s been made redundant from Woolworths !

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Just to watch some football I watched about 40 minutes of Galatasaray v Besiktas yesterday. It wasn't very good (in part due to there being no crowd).

I've got a 1000 piece Grimsby Town jigsaw puzzle so I will spend  any time that I would have been at BP doing that. Very sad lol!?
