It looks like Omar Bogle's contract is up with Cardiff City at the end of this season, i assume he will be looking for another club to join, i realise that his pay is out of our league, however he hasn't been successful football wise at any club since he left us, that thought will have crossed his mind, i know he could score goals for us & re energize his career here, i realise that Ian Holloway won't know that much about him, what do you all think ?

Insert a League One club and he most probably will end up at one of them , , although wages wise will they afford him?

A Fleetwood maybe??

In League Two he could even end up somewhere like Salford and imagine the irony FGR even

At the end of the day, it's not his wage demands but a demand for his services.
Here's a player that should have had a very successful career but ultimately it has stalled and stalled significantly.
With his form the way it is and has been for some considerable time anybody looking to sign would be taking a gamble and as such probably not be prepared to pay his wage demands
Bogle needs to look at himself in the mirror and ask "where did it all go wrong". For me he try to run before he could walk in league football, not blaming him per se for that, his agent has to take some responsibility.
As for signing him again?..no thank you, he scored some great and most memorable goals for us, but his attitude stank at times, prone to sulking and he was never good at tracking back, to the point of appearing lazy..
Hope he goes on to a club where he can be successful, but honestly, I think this horse has bolted..

He cannot command big wages anymore. He has failed at every club since he left, so if he thinks he can get Championship wages when he clearly is not a Championship player he will have to think again.

In the 3 years since he left Town, he's only really had one run that can even hint at a fair crack of the whip, that at Portsmouth.  He got 4 in 12 there, which isn't a bad return at all.

No doubt managers will know about him but justifying his current wages will be a problem I imagine.  That said there's plenty of big payers in our division so wouldn't at all be surprised he ends up somewhere like Mansfield or Salford in the summer, maybe on a one-year deal to kick-start his career.

Was never his biggest fan in all honesty, I easily got bored with his sulks and strops.  But under Hurst it felt like he wanted to be loved and Hurst wouldn't give it.  Under Bignot he was treated like a king when he maybe needed taking down a peg or two, especially post November when he tailed off a bit but still played like he was Pele.  Sure someone like Holloway would know how to get the best out of him, for the team as well... but just can't see it unless Bogle himself wants to take a big pay cut.

The career update in today’s GT does not look good does it. He might be suffering in a poor side with a manager under pressure but he is only a bit player still. You have to ask why. People say he hasn’t had a long enough run in a side since he left BP but again - why? Managers might be tempted by his ability but are quickly not impressed with his consistency. I don’t think he would fit at BP but I’m equally sure Ollie knows everything there is to know about him anyway.

I’d guess he’d choose the eredevisie over L1 or 2 ?

This is the line that sums it up...
In June he'll not be receiving a pay packet, so as far as taking a pay cut goes that's not a choice he'll have to make
His choice will be to accept an offer, if one comes his way, that works for him. He's going to be in a "beggars can't be choosers" situation.

Apart from Ajax, PSV, Feynoord and AZ there's very little difference and the way its looking den Haag won't be in the Eredivisie next season anyway

I saw Bogle when he was playing for us in  non league and thought he was ok but thats it.I thought Amond looked better.

This news that he hasnt made it since he left us  doesn't surprise me. Football is more mental than physical and Bogle probably suffered. He had to work hard and be consistent in order to have any success. At best I would say a league 1 club provided he has the mental resolve  to be consistent. I think herein lies the issue with him.
