Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you give him an excuse for him to escape from the wife and kids for the weekend and drink lots of beer.

Ryan Bennett, signed for Norwich for a reported £3.2 million.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Dean Henderson will probably be the most expensive soon, allegedly Chelsea and PSG are plotting a summer move for him.

I can’t wait to tell everyone that England’s number one made his first professional appearance for us at every given opportunity this summer.

I heard Man Utd are going to sell David De Gea in the summer and make Henderson their number 1.

Henderson has possibly the dream summer ahead! Got to be guaranteed a spot on the plane to the euros, some of the biggest clubs chasing after him to sign and also if he gets a big money move then it's literally like winning the lottery with the wages and signing on bonus

If we're taking inflation into account then Garry Birtles must be up there.

Taking inflation into account Wilko's £300K to Everton must be up there.

Ah.  But to test the statto’s.  Which player cost the most in transfers throughout their career?
So if transferred three times for a total of 3 million etc.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

I'm sure at some point over the next few years the undisputed winner will be Dean Henderson.
