When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Thanks for posting PP.

I have to applaud the club for putting the video out there. And personally I found the Non-Chairman and Old Shutup open and engaging.

I thought the answers on the accounts that Marley gave helpful. On a lighter note, when he said a lawyer had told him that you can't say at the AGM 'shares are for sale', I thought 'but you just have!' . Obviously he was just quoting the lawyer  .

With respect to the possible takeover by Shutes, I have to agree with the line the board are taking on the need to have confidence in the plan to build the ground on the docks (in financial and in engineering terms).

And surely there must be a line in the sand, a time limit given to Shutes to get his ducks in a row, otherwise we might miss the boat on Freemo.

How long I wonder?

I read how it went on the OS and from what i understand i feel JF is doing the right thing and making sure everything is in place and proven which i 100% respect. With the amount of crap that has been thrown at him over the years (ii have been a critic in the past) he could quite easily just get his money back and sell to anyone who offers.

No he can't. Nobody is going to pay him his loans back! Whys should they? It was his choice, he wanted to control everything and he has to accept the downside to that.

That is why he istaking his money back in installments. He knows full well that nobody is going to reward him for years of mistakes by giving him his money back.

Nail on the head.

You don't keep a car for 20 years, refuse to do basic maintenance on it and then have to fork out the best part of a grand every year to get it through it's MOT....then decide to sell it and list it for £400 plus £20,000ish that has been paid in repairs since you've owned it.

Ours must be a Ford Escort. Never really top quality. Popular in the 70s, had a resurgence in the 80s and 90s before disappearing.
