Of course that's true, but you still don't know the whole situation. Maybe that budget was higher but the manager didn't spend it all. Maybe the income was higher than expected so there was an unexpected surplus.

That money might have only been repaid at the end of the tax year when the club has made a profit and with no past losses to write off the tax bill, would have to pay tax on it. It makes little sense to pay tax when there's outstanding debt that can be repaid.

There's lots of ways that you can look at these things, but most people jump to the conclusion that Fenty's a shithouse and everything he does is evil and selfish. The reality is that he's only ever tried to do what's right for the club. There are lots of things that can be improved about the way the club is run, but the thought that he's just clawing his money back at the expense of the playing budget doesn't seem likely to me.

He is and it is 👍

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

The rise of Bournemouth has more to do with a Russian billionaire who lives on Sandbanks than JFs shortcomings .

Coveniently missing from the opening post.....not trying to defend JF in saying that but its clearly a significant factor in their history from the time...along with not paying debts off to local businesses and taking the admin route of 17p (?) in the pound.

FFS - as far as I'm aware, no-one has ever doubted his love for the club and no-one has ever suggested he's evil. As for the selfish bit, if I had such a substantial investment, I would probably be selfish too.

As you are clearly somehow involved with or attached to someone who is involved with how the club is run - and the fact that you mention tax a lot is a pretty unsubtle clue - perhaps you might like to comprehend how us 'stakeholders' might be slightly frustrated at the lack of progress the club is making.

You state that there are lots of things that could be improved about how the club is run? Isn't 15 years a long enough rehearsal? Shouldn't they have worked that bit out by now?

Or the club could have spent the money on essential work at BP.

If you are referring to my opening post then you will see I clearly asked why JF didn't let us go into administration. So  what part was conveniently missing?
