You can’t blame Leeds for this one mate. And your spell checker is sh1t

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Was in the club shop last week, they said that there might be a chance they wouldn’t be coming down, they’re just preparing themselves in case they don’t pass their safety certificate test close season. 👍🏼

I could understand the emotion if it was the last game at BP, in fact I'd be there for sure with a view to nicking my old seat. But a set of lights??

Have the club indicated what they are going to provide regarding new floodlights. Please ,please, please GTFC don't give us lights similar to that bunch down the A180, they look like something bodge it and scarper built.

Am just hoping they have taken the height of the upper into consideration if not we will be blinded every time the ball goes in the air ooops sorry forgot we play total football with pin point passing and the ball always on the deck

Wont look right without them, I love the fact you can see them from such a long way off. In the old days that was how you could find your way to a football ground, by looking out for the floodlights. Nowadays its look for the road signs pointing to a retail or industrial park.  (Jumpers for goalposts etc.)

The two games I remember the most under the the old floodlights was Town 2-1 Everton and Town 7-2 Darlington.
GTFC 3 Exeter 0 Tuesday 2nd May 1972?

Mist drifting off the humber and mingling with woodbine smoke under the lights

Quite a few memorable cup wins but never the same after BP went all seater.
