Yeovil relegated to the National League

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Whitmore concolation goal

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

If Macclesfield can get at least a draw at home to Cambridge then Notts County are down.

Thank you Mr Corbyn (Steptoe), you are the best thing that has happened to the Conservatives for ages.

2-0 down - couldn't see the point in swapping Vernam for Cardboard - for the sake of 20 minutes, -should of 'blooded' another youngster - I assume this is the way forward.

Crewe have suddenly sprung to life late on today - so we'll probably put the 'youngsters' on the back burner again.

Play the young lads - that's what Crewe do.

Still waiting to see this pressing attacking football, wonder if the budget for next season will be bigger than a few players going through the motions and a packet of hob nobs.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

So, another disappointing defeat, devoid of decent football and lacking a cutting edge. We will finish 17th or 18th, and yet another boring, lower mid table league 2 campaign grinds to it's end. No progress whatsoever since we came back into the league.

Shockingly bad     we only put 3 passes together once County retreated to their own penalty area for the last 10 mins. Need to start Wright if we play 442 but honestly couldn't see what Jolly was trying to do tactically at all. Putting Hendrie at left back? Grayson on the pitch? hoofing it up to an isolated Rose? Macca is such a wuss when a cross comes over and was Vernam playing today? saw his name on the teamsheet b ut didn't see him on the pitch. We really need a big strong midfielder who can pass a ball because the current crop couldn't pass wind.
In our defence the ref gave a freekick every time Makail Smith didnt win the ball and the challenge by M Rose was a stonewall red card but the ref bottled it. Lets hope Macc win next week so they go down no matter what.

One of biggest game in their history, we are just seeing the season out and with 7/8 players missing. Cant say this result isnt surprising me to be honest

Good post. Me neither. We’ve had terrible luck with injuries and there’s only so many times you can rely on youth players to fill gaps and play out of their skins. Mind you, Max Wright apparently excellent today.

We do need a good summer transfer wise though.

Quiet frankly most of our players today could have been replaced by cardboard.

Last game of the season next week and I really don't know if I can be bothered to go even if it is a bit cheaper. £14 is it? That's 4 pints and no inconvenience of 4 bus rides. Hmmmm, big decision ahead. 🤔 🤔 🤔
