Slade's record...

P 38 - W 11 D 10 L 17 - F 38 A 56 - Pts 43
1.13 pts/game = 52 pts over 46 matches

Jolley's current record...

P 36 - W 14 D 7 L 15 - F 43 A 47 - Pts 49
1.36 pts/game = 63 pts over 46 matches

It's really good that over the past month Jolley's record has improved so that he is now outperforming Slade II, But given that the lowest points ever promoted out of League 2 since introduction of play-offs is 69 pts you'll probably understand that, whilst I am pleased that we are making progress, I think he still has a long way to go before he deserves the adulation that he is receiving at present. Football is judged over 9 months from August to May. The recent excellent run is sadly outweighed  by the dreadful first 2 months of the season and the run of consecutive away defeats after that which offset our excellent home form.

Oh and for those interested the highest points ever relegated from League 2 was Barnet. They were relegated with 51 pts in 2013.
